This page contains links to most of the useful land deeds and other documents that we found related to the original land grant from Mexico to Ramon Musquiz and the subsequent sale of the land to Van Ness, then to Coddington, and then to Edward M. Glenn and Thomas Haynes.
The land grant to Musquiz was one of four that he received, but the only one located in Jackson County. The other three grants are not considered here.
